Start by removing as much of the old soil from the pot as possible. Hold the pot sideways and tap it gently to loosen the plant. Rinse the roots thoroughly under lukewarm tap water to remove any remaining soil.

Add a thin layer of Alocasia mix to the bottom of the new pot.
